"I have been working with Ford's OE vendor for a
re-release of the single key lock set as used in the 1987-1993 Special
Service (police) Mustangs. This finally came to fruition about two weeks ago
and will be a certain sell-out as sales have been brisk as they were a year
or so ago when we had them available.
Where this is leading to is simple. I have toyed with
producing the single key lock (police) system for the latest ('92+)
generation of CV. As you may know, this is not available thru normal Ford
FP&S channels. I'd like to know from visitors of the CV site if
this might be a popular item to offer. It'll be produced by Ford's OE vendor
and will include all locks keyed to a single key pattern. As with the
Mustang set, a pair of "FORD" keys and code tag will be included.

the next 2 weeks, I will be installing 2000 Mustang GT dual piston
calipers and 12.4 inch rotors onto my 96 Crown Vic which has the
11" brakes (same for the '92-'95). The brakes are from Saleen and
are takeoffs. The two calipers are $50/pair and rotors are $50/pair. It
should be a real cheap mod and should offer the 93-98 Crown Vics a way
to better braking."
